Spring jackets are the perfect fashion fix for the changeable weather, especially when you're (very understandably) not quite ready to leave the layers at home.
For SS15, the jacket offering is reflecting the 70s trend, with a huge range of embroidered, tassled and suede styles from all your favourite brands. We saw laidback patchwork style at Saint Laurent, while Balmain and Tom Ford went for androgynous leather bombers. Whichever look you fancy for spring, the high street has got it covered.
The denim jacket is back too, but not as you know it. For the new season, it's been reworked with cleaner lines (and cropped, at Burberry), as well as raw seams. Not just Marques'Almeida, but Monki has some impressive (and bargain) cover-ups as well.
The message from the catwalks was to layer up. Whether it's denim on denim or suede on cotton, we're looking back for inspiration for our spring looks.
Updating your wardrobe doesn't mean breaking the bank. The high street have all of this spring's hottest jacket styles, even suede and leather, at seriously reasonable price points.
